Livehappibarlos: A Journey of Passion, Creativity, and Evolution

From an early age, art and music have been inseparable parts of the creative spirit that drives livehappibarlos forward. "Ever since I can remember, I was always drawing and making beats on tables, freestyling in my head," he recalls. This enduring passion is described as "an ongoing fire burning inside of me," one that refuses to let him rest until he creates. It's a journey that has been anything but straightforward—"a roller coaster" filled with new discoveries, both personal and artistic. As he evolves, so too does his artistic identity, from his name and appearance to the very sound he creates.

When it comes to his preferred medium, livehappibarlos emphasizes the importance of experiencing his work firsthand. "The most captivating thing is honestly witnessing what I do in person. It's one of those things you won't understand until you experience it." This speaks to the deeply personal and visceral nature of his creative process, one that defies simple explanation.

Describing his unique artistic style proves challenging even for him. "Honestly, to this day, I’m not quite sure what to call the type of music I make—it’s in a league of its own for sure," he admits. What he can assert is that his music is his art, a vivid tapestry woven from life and imagination. The messages within his songs often carry a weighty significance: "Without sounding overly preachy, the messages in my songs mostly warn people that life isn’t sweet. Find God, keep your peace with your piece, be you, do you—damn who don’t like it." It's a call to live fully, to "get lit, get right, maintain, and give this life stuff your all. Live happy, die happy."

In terms of the workspace that fuels his creativity, simplicity reigns supreme. "I just need a studio, a good engineer, water, a clean restroom, weed, some understanding, a charger, a phone, and somewhere to sit, and we’re good," he states. The magic happens when the instrumentals start speaking and his mind begins to decode the music, a process that can take all night—or sometimes just overnight.

Cultural influences have played a moderate role in shaping livehappibarlos's work, particularly in recent times. However, when asked if there are any specific artists or movements that have impacted his creative expression, he responds with a thoughtful "Nah, not that I can think of."

Balancing personal expression with audience expectations is another challenge livehappibarlos has learned to navigate with time. "It’s not easy, but I’ve learned to go with the flow, don’t overdo it. Live in the present, vibe out, feel it, and create," he explains. Recognizing that not everyone can express themselves as artists do, he acknowledges the shared human experience: "We all have feelings and are growing through life."

Storytelling, for livehappibarlos, is essential. "Storytelling is everything to me—it’s very necessary and always welcomed in my creative space." He sees storytelling as the skill that sets one apart in songwriting, poetry, and filmmaking. "Plenty of my music has storytelling in it. Some more than others, but it’s definitely in there—you can taste it, it’s part of the recipe, it’s my seasoning."

Technology, too, has had a significant impact on his artistic process. "I think I speak for all artists when I say technology has been a big help and a bit of a hindrance," he notes. While technology has made creative tools more accessible, it has also introduced challenges, such as making it harder for artists to sustain themselves financially. Yet, he expresses gratitude for the digital tools that allow him to create cover art, design clothing for his brand, and manipulate his voice in music production.

One of the most pressing challenges he faces is breaking into the industry on a larger scale. "How do I get people’s attention on a larger scale?" he asks. Another challenge arises when he hears new sounds, which often leads to an overwhelming desire to experiment and incorporate them into his own work.

Reflecting on memorable experiences, livehappibarlos shares a lighthearted moment when the real Red Ranger liked and commented on a digital art piece he created of the Power Rangers. "There was no real message I was trying to convey other than the fact that I remember the original Power Rangers, and they were a great part of my childhood growing up."

Navigating the business side of being an artist involves making himself visible to the world, sharing his creations, and hoping they resonate with others. Wearing a mask in public is part of his unique marketing strategy, one that captures people's attention and sparks intrigue. "But hearing my music before meeting me is a different type of connection," he adds.

Looking to the future, livehappibarlos aspires to grow both personally and artistically. "I just want to become a better person all across the board, and in return, this will make me a better artist—that’s a lifetime goal." He dreams of performing with a live band and even dabbling in comedy in his own way. Ultimately, he envisions a successful future where he uses his gifts and talents to change lives. "When it’s all said and done, I’ll be legendary."
