Atlanta Soul Rapper Paytience Hits 10,000 Streams, Releases New Single "Parts"

ATLANTA — Atlanta-based soul rapper Paytience, known for his fusion of neo-soul, rap, and jazz, has surpassed 10,000 streams on his debut EP and recently released the single “Parts,” the artist announced.
Paytience, who also goes by the brand MAKING MEANINGFUL MUSIC MATTER (4M’s Ent), describes his music as “trip hop” and himself as a “world changer.” He aims to deliver positive, blunt, and conflict-resolving messages through his lyrics.
“People should read about me because of my fusion of neo-soul/rap/and jazz and most importantly how visceral my lyrical capabilities are,” Paytience said. “What separates me from other artists is the caliber of storytelling, cleverness, and originality along with most of all SUBJECT MATTER being positive, blunt, and having conflict resolution even in not so happy songs.”
Growing up in Atlanta, Paytience witnessed violence and separation, which fueled his desire to create music for positive change. He began playing instruments at age 7 and dedicated himself to music at 16.
Notable career highlights include a feature on the platform High Off Life, performances at two festivals, and over 50 shows in Atlanta. He has also received private recognition from a well-known producer and neo-soul artist.
Paytience’s latest single, “Parts,” released Feb. 15, 2025, is available on all major platforms. A direct-to-consumer release with a “pay what you want” option will be available Jan. 31, 2025.
“The biggest challenges I’ve faced as a full-time artist is balance between planning content and actual content creation,” Paytience said. “I had to overcome this by learning to do my own editing, write my own treatments, and remove a lot of third-party services to be able to ramp up my output.”
Looking ahead, Paytience aims to reach millions of followers across social media and have 25,000 dedicated fans who purchase his music directly. He also aspires to achieve 1 million monthly listeners and perform on major stages worldwide.
