Atlanta Artist B4byDrako Set to Release Debut Album "Me Vs Me," Sharing Raw Life Experiences Through Versatile Sound

ATLANTA, Ga. – (April 24, 2025) – East Atlanta artist B4byDrako is poised to make his mark on the music scene with the upcoming release of his debut album, "Me Vs Me." In an industry often defined by labels, B4byDrako prefers to be known simply as an artist, emphasizing his versatility beyond the confines of traditional rap.

B4byDrako's journey into music began recently as a powerful outlet for his pain and past struggles. "I use to be an angry individual and did a lot of dumb things," he explains. "I tell my life through a beat, which many people can relate to." His unique sound sets him apart, a distinct voice that defies easy categorization. "My sound is unique, and you won’t hear many like me. I don’t sound like anyone else but me. I’m not trying to be stuck under one genre of music."

Despite only starting his musical journey two months ago, B4byDrako possesses a depth of experience that fuels his artistry. "I’ve done and been through so much at the age of 23, but honestly, this is just the beginning of something big." His music offers a glimpse into a life marked by significant challenges, including the absence of his biological father, a strained relationship with his stepfather, and the tragic loss of his five-year-old brother in 2012. Further hardship came with his separation from his mother and sisters at the age of nine and a brief period of incarceration at 14. Forced to drop out of school to care for his ailing mother, B4byDrako became a father at 19, a pivotal moment that motivated him to seek a better life for his son by joining the Navy.

Currently facing discharge from the Navy after being unknowingly exposed to drugs, B4byDrako has channeled his resurfacing anger and trauma into his music. His forthcoming album, "Me Vs Me," reflects this internal battle. "I named it that because I have to battle myself daily, because I have to be professional daily, but the hood never left me, no matter how much the Navy tried to change me." The album, anticipated to feature at least 10 tracks, including his four currently released songs, will delve into the obstacles and daily struggles he faces. B4byDrako is also aiming to collaborate with Atlanta underground artists LilRed and Dirtball on the project.

Looking ahead, B4byDrako harbors ambitious dreams. "In a few years, I see myself getting recognized by huge artists, doing shows for huge events, hyping the crowd up and bringing the energy." His aspirations include working with influential artists such as Lil Wayne, Boosie Badazz, Youngboy, Lil Baby, and Young Thug.

B4byDrako hopes his music will resonate deeply with listeners by offering an authentic and unfiltered perspective on his life experiences. "I want people to get a better understanding of my music and know I’m not talking about bullshit in my song. But I’m talking about things I actually seen, did, and been through in my life."

The release date for "Me Vs Me" is pending B4byDrako's official separation from the Navy, expected at the end of May 2025. He is currently navigating his music career independently.
